I am a healthcare worker in this state working with underserved populations and see daily the damage that being under-insured has on the long term health of people. I firmly believe that a healthy populous is a thriving one and we need to protect our neighbors through access to care. No one should need to worry about the financial burden of a decision regarding their health. In addition, it is widely understood that single-payer systems are cost-saving. Additionally, when we look at systems that support comprehensive health for all citizens, we see cost-savings down the line. In other words, preventative medicine works. Support this bill to make New Hampshire better.
