This bill is absolutely critical to solving an affordability crisis in New Hampshire. I’m a big proponent of School funding and I make a decent living but when I bought my house for $330,000 I did not expect it to be valued at near $750,000 and to be taxed on that! This model has become unsustainable and you have people leaving for more tax, friendly areas. There is no reason. Why somebody with a $200,000 home should be holding up the weight of funding when someone with a $1 million home would barely feel the impact. Stop protecting millionaires and billionaires, and start working for the people who work and live in this state, because in the end that is who keeps this economy running who keeps the state great.
