This bill will cause undue burden on the residents of New Hampshire on their right to vote. An ID will be a forced cost on the residents to vote creates a cost to vote. Forcing residents to prove place of birth and using it to justify their ability to vote is not only an abhorrent thing to do to your fellow citizens, but will also be an undue burden costing time and money. Also if your not born in New Hampshire, you will now need to take oath of allegiance to the state of New Hampshire? This is the undue burden of compelled speech. This law is an unconstitutional, xenophobic, isolationist mess that will not protect the citizens of New Hampshire. This is clearly intended to clear voter rolls and prevent people from voting. I am against this Bill as it will be used to harm the people of New Hampshire.
