Taxing certain non profits is a bad idea. These groups provide vital services to the people of NH and they do it efficiently which saves untold tax payer dollars. The burden of taxation could seriously hinder their operations and cause great harm to those in need. The republican agenda to eliminate taxes wherever and whenever possible leads to this kind of bill when they are desperate to find money for the budget. Rather than punish non profits, create a realistic tax structure, raise necessary funds, and allow non profits to go about their good work which greatly benefits granite staters.
