I oppose this bill as I believe it would be a disadvantage, particularly to women who are married or have been married and divorced. Proving identity would require marriage certificates, divorce certificates, etc. for some people this may be a challenge, depending on where they were married and the cost. In addition, I am unsure about this pledging allegiance to the state. Not sure what that means and what that’s all about. I as a US citizen who was born here already pledge allegiance to the United States of America America.
