You want me to give an oath of allegiance to the state government in the Live Free or Die state in order to vote? What kind of authoritarian nonsense is that? Not only is this clearly meant to disenfranchise voters, it seems like religious discrimination as well as there are certain religious denominations that cannot make oaths to any power other than their god. Noncitizens are not voting in this state. Please prove that this is a legitimate problem that needs to be addressed before passing laws that disenfranchise voters who have every right to participate in their state government.
