I suspect this law was proposed by members of the Free State/Liberty Alliance. They have no interest in funding public schools or in supporting much needed services in our state. The state of New Hampshire is not providing adequate funding for schools, which has put the burden on local property owners by raising property taxes. Please do not support a bill that makes it more difficult to raise taxes for education and other services that should be provided by the state government.
