I am against this bill as it restricts voter access. I am a California native, born and raised. I love California and loved my time living in California. Then in 2024, I had the opportunity to relocate to the beautiful state of New Hampshire. I love it here and I love this state. I gave up winters in flip flops to shovel snow, and I have no regrets for making that decision. Why should I be obligated to prove my loyalty to the state or redefine my citizenship just because I CHOSE to live here? Would it not follow to reason that choosing to live somewhere is a good indication that a person is loyal to said location? Don't punish people like me for relocating. Don't restrict my voting rights or access to resources just because I was born out of state.
