We need to end to shadow law enforcement and emphasize police transparency in New Hampshire. Over the last few months, we have seen the horrendous toll that shadow police forces can take on a community. The news cycle is inundated with videos of masked men with no identification arresting people in the streets. Hidden among those videos are reports that individuals are pretending to be law enforcement for their own sick purposes. These actions have fostered fear in communities across the country. Unfortunately, we have already seen that the consequences can be deadly, as demonstrated by the recent deaths in Minnesota. We the people deserve to know who we are interacting with when interacting with government officials. This ensures mutual cooperation and two-way accountability. End the reign of terror and rebuild public confidence.
