Revising the state building code to include the International Energy Conservation Code 2024 (or similar code that achieves equivalent or greater energy savings) would be great for all New Hampshire residents as it would continue to raise standards for energy efficiency for new buildings. This would reduce long-term energy costs for homeowners and businesses and also keep New Hampshire aligned with best practives while perserving local implementation and authority.
