We can, as a state, choose to treat those seeking asylum and those seeking a better life as human beings worthing of dignity and protection. We do not need to make life impossible for them by preventing them from accessing basic necessities like housing. Doing so does not improve the lives of New Hampshire residents, instead, it implicates us in cruelty.
