This once again leaves the entire burden of supporting NH's government on the people already paying the most taxes, land owners. The assumption that all property owners are rich and should have no trouble paying exorbitant taxes to support the rest of the state is wildly misguided. Particularly people who are trying to keep up the tradition of working family farms deserve some tax relief, which means government needs to be able to place the burden of taxation elsewhere. This bill would make such measures impossible and hasten the decline of NH's farming communities.
