This is a common sense resolution. All Americans deserve access to affordable health care – regardless of age, regardless of socioeconomic status. My biggest stressors shouldn't be whether I will be bankrupted in the process of getting medical care (yes, this is still something I'm afraid of despite having private health insurance). Our country's health outcomes are shameful. And there is no reason it has to be this way. There are plenty of sound arguments and data that show this is an appropriate solution to our country's health care crisis.
