HB1520 creates a new definition of “citizenship” for voting, including a concept of “New Hampshire citizenship.” There is no such thing as “New Hampshire citizenship.” There is U.S. citizenship by which we vote if we prove we are domiciled here. This is just another effort to obscure the rules, confuse voters and make it more difficult for people to vote. Please defeat this intrusion on our voting rights.
