Students feel much more comfortable in school knowing a teacher has their back. Anyone who claims otherwise is lying or openly against LGBT students. These are children who smile knowing that no matter what happens at home, they are safe at school. It is also worth noting that AT NO POINT is the pride flag even held of equal status to the US flag- it is simply something small or on a sticker. Students who are not LGBT genuinely do not care. This is a blatant close minded attack on our youth. Politicians are clearly using this as a distraction and this would equate and amount to nothing that is impacting our schools for students in 2026. Stop ignoring the true problems just to play politics with our students identities.
