First, putting more burdens on landlords is simply ridiculous. Second the state is not responsible for vetting someone's "legal status", third Republicans, for my entire life, have talked about smaller government but all this does is insert government into peoples personal business. Stop perpetuating this "culture war" and focus on the needs of all people in the state.
