Elizabeth Ropp | Oppose HB1336

Dear House Housing Committee, As New Hampshire taxpayer and Manchester City resident, I oppose this bill because it will increase the burden on the Queen City to provide shelter to people who are unable to pay increasing costs of rent and rental deposits. I am disappointed in the many politicians who scorn Manchester and point at our city as a place to mocked or feared. The reality is that our city offers the most services. There is nothing wrong with accessing services when they are needed. It is wrong to push vulnerable people to their breaking point so that they lose housing and have their lives upended. Please vote no on this bill. The Honorable Elizabeth Ropp
