I moved here about 2 1/2 years ago from Massachusetts, NH residents talk about live fee or die and “taxachusetts” not having an understanding that they actually paying more taxes between property tax, restaurants, and the yearly birthday tax/ car registration than I ever did in Mass with a much larger house and luxury automobile at the time. This is just another additional ridiculous tax. Spend your time figuring out how to fix the housing problem and attracting young people to the state. Chances are they are riding bikes more than your aging population (1 in 4 over 60 yrs of age by 2030.) If this is meant as a tourist tax how are you going to educate about it, on a commercial… come visit NH but don’t forget to register your bicycle. Don’t we have bigger fish to fry???
