Since I was 15.5 years old, I have worked two jobs to be able to keep myself afloat. I have been renting in Manchester for 19 years & it seems every rule & regulation is in favor of the landlord & never the tenant. It seems archaic & antiquated that because I lack the money to purchase a house, I am given far fewer rights than an individual who does have the means to purchase a home. I am an upstanding member of the community & no less valuable to Manchester than someone who owns a rental property.
