Again, our current legislative leaders work to undermine public education at taxpayer expense. Their hypocrisy knows no limits as they seek to weaken the public, transparent, and locally controlled education system to replace it with private, unaccountable schools that further serve their agenda. It is truly Orwellian to claim to be working for better education when they are actually working to destroy one of the most important institutions of democracy.
