As a willing tax payer, I pay taxes under the assumption that I’m contributing to my state (and country) from my income, for services that benefit me and/or our neighbors. How can we rationalize taxing non-profits that PROVIDE such services with P&L’s that are in the red (hence the need for charitable contributions)? Please vote NO to HB 1293.
