If passed, HB1293 would cause significant financial challenges to the nonprofit I work for (Harris Center for Conservation Education) and many other non-profit organizations in New Hampshire. We already pay both current use and forest harvest taxes on all our conserved lands. The added taxes we would have to pay would seriously curtail the free and reduced-rate programs we offer the public and the district-wide students we serve all year long. Please vote "no" on HB1293. ~ Margaret Baker, Harrisville, NH
