As a member of the Board of the Loon Preservation Committee based in Moultonborough NH, I would like to express my strong opposition to bill 1293. As a board we spend countless hours fundraising to support ongoing protection, research and preservation of New Hampshire's iconic bird, the Common Loon. This bill would funnel much of our funds away from our public-serving mission and into taxes. I do not believe that this bill serves the people of New Hampshire.
