As written this bill would impact the states efforts to controll invasive species by eliminating or making it more difficult/expense to obtain support from towns to small lake associations that now manage the Lake Host program. The Towns currently understand that a small amount of $ (typically less than 10k) to a lake assoc helps ensure that the lake front home values do not drop due to invasives which would impact the towns tax base.
