The expectations of the owners and nursing department is for staff to listen to residents concerns,provide emotional support to residents and families and provide physical care with nursing skills, and to provide activities that enhance emotional wellbeing. In order to accomplish this the number of hours per resident and the number of staff present need to be significant in order to give appropriate care.
