As a small business owner, the Town meeting forum has a detrimental effect on my business.. If I have an opposing view on an article than my customer(s), they may choose to find another company whose views align more with their own views. I have witnessed this happen to other business owners. These people have an outstanding reputation and support the local economy, but due to a different opinion, they have been blacklisted by those who have different opinions. This happens in every small NH town. This would allow small, family owned businesses to finally have a voice without having to face financial repercussions from their customers or community. I fully support this Bill and am hoping for a more equitable system of voicing my opinion(s).
