Please reject all proposed changes to HB1635 and uphold the bill as written. This is not the time to overhaul crisis intervention for our most vulnerable unless it is to offer more of it. We’ve seen enough on the larger stage of careless leadership, and the ramifications of such, at the federal level. Local leadership is always relevant. It sends a message that less is less when policies are promoted that elevate party over people. Those who have lost the most have personal insight into what advocacy means to them. Listen to them.
