Since the state of New Hampshire changed the approval process for SB2, to the in person meetings, not a single town has been able to meet the 60% threshold to pass it. This is because it is counterintuitive- requiring people to show up at an in person meeting that is in itself, prohibitive for people with mobility issues, deployment, work requirements, etc. to attend, is absolutely doomed to fail. It is voter suppression in it’s purest form. Approval for SB2 needs to 100% be returned to the ballot so that all voters have access to vote.. End voter suppression at the local level, give residents access to vote by moving SB2 approval to the ballot!!
