I support HB1799. It matters because its intent is simple and overdue: to force the state to finally meet its constitutional obligation to fund an adequate education instead of pushing that cost onto local property taxpayers. They are becoming very aware their ever increasing property taxes are a result of the state not local budgets. Time to pass a bill like this and start funding our schools as they should be.
