This bill is a preemptive piece of legislation to ban the state or localities from ever purchasing or implementing any curriculum created by the World Economic Forum. I support this bill. Last summer, American Federation of Teacher's president Randi Weingarten stated in chilling speech titled "A Moment Like Never Before" their intentions to partner with the World Economic Forum to create public school education curriculum. Our schools are failing WITH the American Federation of Teachers. Many students are being home schooled for this exact reason. Why would the United States Teachers Union support joining the rest of the world in directing the education of our students in such a limited way. PLEASE vote YES on this legislation.
