Creating a secure online voter registration option and allowing voters to submit forms directly to the Secretary of State is a practical, responsible update that reflects how Granite Staters live today. This bill reduces paperwork, minimizes errors, and eases pressure on local election officials, especially on Election Day, without changing who is eligible to vote. It simply makes our system work better while maintaining the high standards New Hampshire expects. I urge the committee to support HB 1678.
