I am a mother of two young children in Windham, NH who will soon be attending public school. I strongly oppose this bill and urge our state representatives to oppose it as well. It is extremely dangerous and will cause additional accidental shootings our children. It will cause kids to become more curious about guns and also think they can handle them since they were “trained”. Children should not have access to guns - the safest way to protect our kids from incidents involving guns is to pass safe storage laws and educate parents on the important of safe storage - not to instruct our children how to use guns -even if the goal is for them to use them safely - children are not equipped to understand that responsibility. Please protect our children. This bill is appalling.
