Dear Honorable Chairman and Committee Members, As an elected NH state representative, town of Campton Conservation Commissioner and appointed town representative on the Pemigewasset River Local Advisory Committee, I strongly oppose HB 1603. The effect of this bill would limit protection for threatened and endangered species and their habitats in our state. This bill mandates requirements that are essentially impossible to fulfill and then states that these requirements are unnecessary for either submission or approval of permit applications. This provision is in direct conflict with RSA 212-A:9. Please vote ITL on HB 1603. Respectfully, Janet Lucas Grafton County District 7
