This bill goes against New Hampshire’s long tradition of local control. Providing this tax exemption should be a local decision. This exemption has been in place for decades, and removing it would be unfair to those who have made a financial commitment to renewable energy. Climate change is real, and encouraging alternatives to gas and oil is critical to providing future generations with a livable world.
