I am an independent voter, and I have submitted testimony a number of times about my concerns with the anti-voting rights bills Concord has been passing and the need for our elected officials to make it easier for citizens to register and vote. I know people who live in states that have had "DMV" registration for years, and it's always been embarrassing to explain the process here in NH. So I am happy to see HB 1600 being proposed and I strongly support it. This is technology and service from the last century; it's high time NH got on board to make it easier for busy, disabled or low-income citizens to register. Please support this bill; it improves a government service for NH citizens. Thank you.
