During this time of intimidation and violence committed by federal ICE officers, it is more important than ever that those being detained have as much protection as possible. We know that human beings who are in this country legally have been transported to other countries. The more transparency there is in the process, the more likely errors can be stopped before lives are upended unlawfully.
