I am a Pastor of a church that has a pantry that the Town of Madison supports. They are a vital part of helping us to support families, veterans, and the homeless so that they are able to receive the food that they need. The town has done this for years and there is no reason why it should stop now. We are very fortunate to have the support of the community that we have. I ask you to amend the bill so that it allows towns to continue working with trusted nonprofits while ensuring public dollars are used responsibly and accounted for clearly.
