I am a retired professional educator with 37 years of teaching and administrative experience. The quality of children's education impacts not only today's students, but their future lives, the workforce of the future, and the communities they live in. Public education, well provisioned, and well respected, provides that quality with checks and balances. I urge lawmakers to adequately fund public education without the excessive burden of property taxes. Please vote appropriately to provide some property tax relief, ensure adequate education funding, and act in a manner you can be proud of by doing the right thing.
