I implore you to please keep these training measures for teachers in place. Suicide is an epidemic in this country and our NH teens are not immune. Within in five years of my children attending and graduating hight school at least half a dozen of their peers, friends, family members of friends took their own lives. Teachers are on the front lines and see and interact our children at times more than parents do. They will see and with this training recognize the signs and help students and parents get the resources they need.
