I am supporting HB1831, which removes the cap on funding cuts to Manchester only. Manchester will be cut by at least $10 million beginning next year. The removal of This cap would cause Manchester to make drastic reductions in the operations of their schools, the education of their students, or higher property taxes for their residents. This is a targeted funding issue and will cause taxes in Manchester to rise, and students suffer.
