Reversing a long standing locally approved property tax exemption on Solar Energy Systems is a financial punishment for a large number of homeowners who have invested in alternative energy equipment. The utility companies do not like the new direction that the electrical marketplace in evolving as it is limiting their profits and they forget that they have a public utility mandate. The New Hampshire State Government should encourage and support alternative energy development to help keep the cost of future service reasonable for business and residents.
