Public school staff and personnel should receive ongoing suicide awareness and prevention training, and this bill would be removing required training hours and extending the timeline for subsequent training. It is essential that school personnel receive this training to support the mental health of youth. It should just be left alone. This bill as is has most likely saved countless lives
