I am opposed to HB1002, which would repeal New Hampshire’s solar property tax exemption statute. This law gives my municipality of Enfield and other municipalities in NH the option to exempt residential solar systems from property taxes. Our Town relies on it to support local clean energy, household affordability, and local control. Repealing it would discourage solar investment and take decision-making power away from towns and cities. Please reject HB1002 and preserve local choice. Respectfully, Marta Ceroni
