I strongly support the proposed legislation, for reasons so eloquently expressed by no less than Her Excellency Kelly A. Ayotte, Governor of New Hampshire, in her Proclamation honoring the centennial of the Manchester Masonic Community Center, wherein she noted that Masons “have played vital roles in Manchester’s civic and charitable life for generations” and that the Masonic Community Center has been “a sacred and unifying space for lodge meetings, Grand Lodge events, and meaningful public gatherings” and “stands today not only as a symbol of Masonic heritage and continuity, but also as a testament to service, tradition, and the enduring contributions of Freemasons to the fabric of New Hampshire.” She called upon “all citizens to recognize the Center’s century of service and celebrate its legacy of fraternity, civic engagement, and community leadership.” These sentiments are apt for Masonic Temples throughout the Granite State.
