Solar on homes reduces the cost of every ones energy by reducing peak costs in the energy market. This will continue to drive our electricity costs to the highest in the region. The national average electric rate is $.1607/kWh, NH is $.2308/kWh. Fix the system that incentives utilities to gamble with our rates, not drive up NH residents tax bills. NH property tax system is broken, this will break it more and raise taxes for residents who have chosen energy independence. This is will create winners and losers in our already regressive property tax system and further drive our younger residents from the state.
