I believe there is growing awareness in our state (and everywhere) that criminalizing poverty is cruel. It shouldn't even be legal to give people citations for sleeping outside when there is a lack of shelter beds, there's absolutely no reason to further burden them financially. So frankly I think if people oppose this bill they just look evil.
