This bill cuts funding for crisis centers and vital survivor services. Makes it harder to get a protective order by requiring there to be criminal charges before someone can get protection. Creating more court delays, costs, and barriers for victims and it weakens victim privacy and emergency protections when danger is highest for these victims and their families.
