As a domestic violence survivor, I cannot believe that anyone in their right mind would want to make it more difficult to get a protection order, or put more obstacles in a victims path. Also, offer less support for victims trying to leave a dangerous (possibly fatal) ? The process of leaving an abusive relationship is already difficult enough, why would we go back in time and regress instead of make progress? Agencies that offer support are saving lives!
