Good day, My name is Karen and I live and vote in beautiful Bristol. I SUPPORT this bill. I am very concerned with the use of taxpayer monies to support private ICE detention centers being built and operated in NH. I believe this prevents the diversion of state and local funds, which could and SHOULD be used for community needs. I also want to restrict local governments from entering into agreements that might conflict with state policy, ensuring towns and counties aren't forced to support private ICE facilities. I do NOT support harmful detention practices.
