I strongly oppose this bill. The mental health crisis in our students is a critical issue that is essential to consider when discussing the ability of anyone to possess or even bring firearms on campuses in NH. In the last ten years I have seen the mental health of our students decline. Universities must retain the ability to regulate firearms or non-lethal weapons on campus to prioritize safety for all. All students, staff and faculty on the campus of an educational institution should be able to be present without fear of weapons.
